Help with skill templates
When i first got my new comp i could not see all the skill templates that i loaded into the file, so i re-did all into the template. It was working for awhile. Now they are gone again and i cant access them from ingame but they are there in my comp. I am running vista 64 is there any thing i can do so i dont have to reupload all of them again? I tried to allow them to be shared but i dont allow all my other file to be shared.
Thank You!

Its likely a problem with Vista. Your best bet is to triple check the location, and then reload them. If it doesnt work, you'll have to remake all your templates. Vista ftl...
It isnt compatible with anything, it seems like.

Heh, another bash at Micro$oft.
The vast majority of Vista users on here have never had a problem with GW, and this is the first report I've ever seen of lost templates. Confused the hell out of me at first when I eventually found my templates and screenshots in username/documents/gw ^_^

I had the same problem.
Copied the template folder from the xp machine which was in the main game folder.
Then put this in the vista equivalent of my documents where there was already a guild wars folder.
Its where vista also puts screenshots by default.
Come to think of it many games used to put folders in my documents under xp, I thought it strange, now I find it convenient.

I can't say that I like the way Vista sends your data to where IT thinks it should be. I think I'll just pass on Vista for now - I can foresee that causing all sorts of buggy little things like this.
But, I'm curious as to what the fix was too.
